Another Great Day at Stony Plain Lions RV Park & Campsite
Opened in 1989 with the hope that it would attract visitors to Stony Plain and raise money for Lions projects, the RV Park has exceeded all expectations.
The RV Park’s location and its 76 fully serviced sites help attract about 3000 visitors to Stony Plain each year. Some camp here so they can attend family reunions, weddings or take in local tourist attractions such as the murals, golf course and Red Brick Common; others because the Park is only 25 minutes from West Edmonton Mall and others because it is on the route to Alaska. Most visitors come from Canada and the United States, but some come from Europe and Asia.
Each year the park generates funds that enable Stony Plain Lions to support community projects for youth, health centre, library and seniors lodges.
